Makita DHR242RF SDS Plus Hammer Drill has an efficient brushless DC motor that provides higher productivity and a slide chuck for quick easy SDS-Plus bit changes. It offers 3 modes of operation: rotation + hammering, hammering only and rotation only. The tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of the handle portion where the houses are joined with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers. This unique joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to the battery terminals minimising battery failures such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact.
